Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater Performances - Vail, Colorado

Come early and park your car for free in the Vail Village or Lionshead structure, or look for close-in paid parking. Vail's free transit system will take you to Geral R. Ford Amphitheater from either parking structure. New this summer is a Village-to-Village Express route. Buses run along the South Frontage Road every 6 to 8-minutes on Event Days. Stops include Lionshead, Vail Village and Ford Park. Express times and stops vary, so be sure to check the calendar for details. Parking on the South Frontage Road is available for overflow parking until 11 p.m. after both the Vail Village and Lionshead parking garages are full.

Parking options for Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater performances include:

  • Free parking in Vail Village and Lionshead parking garages
  • $5 close-in parking at the Ford Park lot* (200 spaces, 500 South Frontage Rd.)
  • $5 close-in parking at the Soccer Field lot* (55 spaces, 600 Vail Valley Dr.)
    *Check the calendar for pay parking dates and times; otherwise, parking is free.
  • South Frontage Parking only available AFTER Vail Village and Lionshead parking
    garages are full

Transportation Information

From Vail or Lionshead parking garages, trasnsportation options to Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater performances include:

  • Village-to-Village Express bus between Ford Park, Vail Village and Lionshead via South Frontage Road will be in use during major events at Ford Park.
  • In-Town bus route will extend from Lionshead to Ford Park to accommodate events at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater. Check the calendar for dates and times.
  • Walking from the Vail Village Parking Structure to the Amphitheater takes approximately 15 minutes.
  • Green Limousine will be running a free pedicab service between the Amphitheater and the
    Vail Village parking garage during Bravo! events
